Mercenary
Combat Gauntlet - Scenario #1
Briefing
Looking to gain critical hands-on experience battling a variety of targets and situations? Then my Combat Gauntlet might be the perfect fit for you. Please understand that this course is intended for pilots who have already mastered flying basics and are ready to take their abilities to the next level. If you’re starting off and want to learn the ropes, I’d recommend logging some hours in an Arena Commander simpod. But for those ready to face a real challenge, I firmly believe that students learn best by doing. That’s why I’ve designed these eight scenarios to be as realistic as possible. I promise you this is the closest thing to Navy combat pilot training you can get without enlisting, so don’t expect a lot of hand holding. The risk of injury to yourself or your ship should be taken very seriously. GAUNTLET SCENARIOS: 1. Single Targets 2. Multiple Targets 3. Target Priority 4. Target Stealth 5. Missiles and Countermeasures 6. Multi-Crew Targets 7. Corvette with Escorts 8. Capital Ship Encounter So, if you’re ready to challenge yourself and prove you got what it takes to be a great pilot, the first scenario will focus on handling a single target. Head to Hurston, HUR L1, HUR L2 and others to begin. As a bonus, successful completion of the scenario will net the original contractor holder an award of 1 MG Scrip. TRICKS OF THE TRADE: - Situational Awareness – Don’t get so focused on taking a target that you aren’t watching your flight path. No good taking out the enemy if you fly headfirst into an asteroid. Good luck out there, Instructor Gilly ABOUT GILLY’S FLIGHT SCHOOL Instructor Lucas “Gilly” B…
